About the Role:

We are establishing a dedicated Medical Simulation division and are looking for a Senior Sales Manager – Medical Simulation to lead sales efforts from the ground up. This role is critical in building market presence, driving institutional sales, and laying the foundation for a scalable sales team.

The personnel will be responsible for selling a range of medical simulation products (physical, digital, and hybrid), engaging with medical colleges, teaching hospitals, training institutions, and other healthcare education stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Business Development:
    • Drive end-to-end sales of medical simulation products across medical colleges, nursing colleges, paramedical institutes, hospitals, and training centres.
    • Identify, prospect, and convert key institutional customers across assigned geographies.
    • Build and maintain a robust database of training institutions, medical colleges, simulation centres, and key decision makers.
    • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations (physical / virtual).
    • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Stakeholder & Account Management:
    • Engage with Deans, Principals, Medical Superintendents, HODs, Simulation Lab Heads, and Academic Directors.
    • Lead commercial negotiations with purchase, finance, and procurement departments.
    • Manage RFQs, tenders, pricing discussions, and contract closures.
    • Ensure smooth coordination with internal teams for order fulfilment and post-sales support.
  • Product & Market Understanding:
    • Develop strong technical understanding of medical simulation products.
    • Stay updated on new product launches and competitive landscape.
    • Provide market feedback to leadership for product strategy.
  • Process Building & Reporting:
    • Establish sales pipelines, CRM discipline, and reporting structures.
    • Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and market intelligence.
  • Team Leadership (Future Scope):
    • Support hiring, mentoring, and management of a sales team as the division scales.
    • Set targets and review performance of team members.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Experience:
    • 8–12 years of experience in institutional B2B sales.
    • Prior experience in medical devices, healthcare technology, or medical education preferred.
    • Strong exposure to procurement-driven sales cycles.
  • Skills & Competencies:
    • Excellent negotiation and consultative selling skills.
    • Strong communication and presentation abilities.
    • Ability to explain technical products to diverse stakeholders.
    • Self-driven and comfortable working in a startup or new-division environment.
    • Willingness to travel extensively.
